Founded in 2003, Mei Hua Chinese School is dedicated to educating the community about Chinese language and culture. The name "Mei Hua" is a combination of the Chinese character 美 (měi) and 华 (huá). 美 (měi) means beautiful and also used as an abbreviation to represent the United States of America (美国, měi guó means beautiful country). 华 (huá) means magnificent and also used as an abbreviation to represent China or Chinese. 
美华中文学校成立于 2003 年，致力于向社区宣传中国语言和文化。“梅华”这个名字是汉字美（měi）和华（huá）的组合。美（měi）的意思是美丽的 ，也用作代表美利坚合众国的缩写（美国，měi guó 的意思是美丽的国家 ）。华（huá）的意思是宏伟， 也用作代表中国或中国的缩写。 

 

始于2003年，美华中文学校致力于为社区提供关于中国语言及文化的普及和教育。

学校的名称“美华”不仅寓意美丽且壮观，同时，又可理解为美国与中华 (或者中国人) 的缩写与结合。
 

美华中文学校是一个专注于为社区服务的501(c)3非营利组织。我们致力于为大众提供有关中国语言和中华文化的课程， 并承诺绝不设有任何关于学生年龄，种族，性别，种族背景，宗教或国籍之障碍。
